About Rose Gold
Precise hand-made for every piece of our jewelry, we are keen at all stages of manufacturing to choose the finest diamonds like (VVS, VS, and SI) and the best colors like (D-E-F-G-H) and the unique gemstones.
The Task
Rose Gold Jewelry did not have an eCommerce presence. Their business was based on traditional brick and mortar stores. As part of their expansion plans, the company wanted to branch out into ecommerce and was looking for a reliable ecommerce development partner to help them make this transition. The company wanted to create its ecommerce site on the Woo Commerce platform but lacked the expertise to create the web store in-house.
Challenge
Based on Rose Gold Jewelry requirements Zaawia set up and deployed a brand new Woo Commerce Open Source based eCommerce site for them. The Zaawia team also developed and implemented several custom features on the storefront, which are supported by WordPress Plugins out of the box. These customizations include:
• Custom volume-based discounts (applicable on specific dates e.g. certain holidays)
• Addition of event management functionality, using which the company can offer discounts on certain products (related to the event) on the site, e.g. (discounts on a national day or mothers day)
• Addition of a testimonials section to the web store
• Integration with Apple Pay – for zero markup installment options for purchases
• Addition of a loyalty points management system
The Result
The partnership is ongoing on an annual maintenance contract, with the Zaawia team adding new features, inventory management, and updates to the web store.
